I got a set for the family and they were really soft when we got them. They aren't quite as soft as they were before the first wash but they are still comfortable and it was an easy shopping experience.
Bought a set of pajamas sold as a size “Medium tall”. The pants may have been slightly longer than a standard pair, but barely. The shirt was in no way longer than a standard size, as the sleeves were way too short (I am only 5’9”!). Very disappointing.
